What You’ll Get from This Post
In this blog, I’m sharing why experimenting and figuring things out can be a game changer. I’ll also cover:
📌 Why searching for answers in the wrong places holds you back.
📌 How embracing trial and error can spark personal breakthroughs.
📌 And why making your own discoveries can help you ID solutions that work best for you.
My goal? ⬇️⬇️⬇️
To encourage you to trust your instincts more, try things out, and awaken your confidence to solve problems through action—not just research.
Searching for Answers in the Wrong Places
Let’s talk about something real quick—the POWER of doing things yourself. 💪
Nope, I’m not talking about isolating yourself or trying to do everything alone.
I’m talking about figuring things out without always relying on Google searches, YouTube tutorials, endless TikTok scrolling or some expert opinion.
I’ve found myself stuck scrolling, waiting for perfect, pre-packaged solutions to pop up. But guess what?
That doesn’t always work.
Because sometimes the best solution comes from you.
Sometimes the Best Solution Is You
I’ve had some bar stools for years.
Every time they start looking worn out aka raggedy, I take quick notice.
But I don’t toss them. Nope.
Instead, I make them look fresh, and boom—they’re back in action. ✨
Now, here’s the funny thing…
When I first started doing this, I didn’t look up a tutorial.
❌ No reupholstery guides.
❌ No how-to videos.
❌ None of that.
I just looked at the stools and thought, ‘Hmm, they look raggedy. What can I do with this?’
And then here’s what happened…
I let my brain take over, and boom—I figured it out. 💡
Because the brain is wired to figure stuff out.
Here’s what I’m getting at:
Some of you are out here searching for answers in all the wrong places.
You’re looking for that perfect solution from Google, TikTok, or a how-to guru.
But the truth is, you’ll only figure out some things through pure experimentation.
That means, not everything in life has a googleable answer.
And you don’t always need an expert or a step-by-step guide—sometimes, you just need to dive in and figure it out on your own.
Yes, it’s messy, and yes, it can feel uncomfortable.
But that’s where personal breakthroughs happen. 🌱
Skipping the Struggle
The more you experiment, the more you learn what works for you—not just what worked for someone else.
The more you tap into your creativity and your instinct—the more you awaken your ability to solve problems.
I know we sometimes want to shortcut the process.
We sometimes want to skip the struggle, to get straight to the end result without getting our hands dirty.
But when we do that, we miss out on making our own discoveries.
And sometimes, that’s the only way to get the answer you need.
You’ve just gotta experiment and try things yourself.
⚠️ I’m NOT talking about experimenting and trying things that can bring harm to yourself or others.
Learning Through All Trial, No Error
A few years ago, I wrote in my planner:
‘All trial, no error.’
What I meant is, I’d learn from my mistakes and use their lessons to get closer to my goals.
And guess what?
That’s my secret.
I’m willing to try.
I’m willing to experiment.
I’m willing to oops my way into success and personal breakthrough!
You can do that too.
The proof you’re capable is you reading my blog!
The people who read my blog are open to guidance and willing to learn because they want the very best from life. That includes you.
Recap & Final Thoughts
Here’s the takeaway:
1️⃣ You don’t ALWAYS need expert advice to fix things or solve problems.
2️⃣ Experimenting is a KEY to getting ahead—stop skipping this process.
3️⃣ Sometimes the best solution comes from your own creativity and instincts.
That said, next time you’re stuck, try this…
Instead of hunting for a quick fix on the internet
Take a step back and ask yourself, What can I do with what I’ve got right in front of me?
Then, just go for it. 💥
Remember, your brain knows how to solve problems—it just needs the space to do it.
So, let your brain work its magic figuring things out, and watch what happens. ⬇️⬇️⬇️
