On Thursday, July 7, 2016, while listening to the lyrics of Hillsong United’s “Say the Word,” our Father reminded me of His Words.
God’s voice is powerful. It echoes throughout the earth and all over creation. The world was made by His Word and this same word changes things, whether it’s spoken by Him or us (1).
CREATION MAKES GOD’S VOICE TANGIBLE.
Looking at creation, God’s invisible qualities are made visible (2). Here’s another thought for you to consider, the destruction and decay of His masterpiece not only proves the need for the children of God to manifest as the salt of the earth in order to enforce its preservation, but it makes the unseen spiritual realm, particularly the demonic, visible (3).
Digressing back to my initial thought, when we look out into creation we see His voice, His word, His power and with this I heard:
Now you say the Word.
You Pray.
And don’t pray your words, but pray My Words because angels are waiting to respond to My Word.
And even as you pray, pray for yourself first.
Pray for your own heart, that it would be pure and you would pray My heart.

And so I prayed.
This strong urgency the Lord placed on prayer was quickly followed with an even stronger admonition. This insight that ensued was so astonishing, I did the only thing I knew to do. I sent it to my spiritual leader to judge (4).
The word was confirmed. There I was faced with the reality of America’s fate hanging on the prayers and unity of the church. What God spoke to me earlier, became über real. Even still, I didn’t have consent from Him to write about it openly or even share it with many people. This however soon changed.
The following day, Friday, July 8th, while perusing my Facebook timeline, I saw Cindy Jacobs make reference to the 2016 prophecy she’d previously released from the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders. WATCH THE VIDEO HERE!!! Part of this prophecy revealed pending race riots in America. Not only did she reiterate this in her post, but she added a bold petition. Cindy Jacobs prayed for God to raise up leaders for the next civil rights movement.
Almost immediately following this, I saw an update from Chuck D. Pierce, which is another tenured prophetic voice you should consider following if you aren’t already. In his Facebook post, he restated a prophetic word he’d given in April 2016, pinpointing specific times of chaos unparallel to anything existing generations have witnessed and a specific word concerning America’s African-American community.
My Notes from 7-7-16 | God says we’re in the beginning stages of a civil rights movement…He said the church needs to pray for peace, to pray that racial divides would be broken instead of being fortified and that we need to pray, seeking Him earnestly.
God said His church must be a unified “entity”. He said the tragic events that have occurred this week in America, are a strategic assignment from hell sent to disengage the unity of the church. Why, it’s because the change the world needs is found within us, not the edifice or structure, but within the members.
If the Body of Christ falls apart, what hope do those who don’t believe in God have?
God then began to remind me of how He sends people to save people.
Moses
The Old Testament Prophets
Joseph
Jesus
He reminded me of how different American presidents have assisted in the initiation and enforcement of civil rights.
Abraham Lincoln
John F. Kennedy
Lyndon B. Johnson
Harry S. Truman
***These lists are not all-inclusive.***
Then God said He wants us to pray for our leaders because the heart of the king is in His hand and He is looking for us to “cry out” [to make intercession in prayer] (5).
He said we can cry out to Him because He responds to the voice of the righteous and we are the righteousness of God through Christ (6).
PRAYER POINTERS
-
Pray Americans will not resort to violence as a means to resolve problems.
-
Pray that media reports would not subconsciously influence us to “choose sides” and that all we speak produces life.
-
Pray specifically for unity and love in the church, because we are called to influence the world.
-
Pray for America’s leaders and those with political power, that they’d receive a call to action from deep within and institute change.
-
Pray that all fear, worry, fits of rage and anxiety would be replaced with God’s peace.
-
Pray that in spite of what we see, racial divides would crumble against love.
Remember this isn’t a time to fear. This is a time to really cleave closer to God. This is a time to become more diligent in seeking His wisdom and direction in all things…
