A Word About Inner Vows
Inner vows. Words.
Things we say.
Promises we make to ourselves.
Words we speak when we’re alone.
Words we speak when we’re not okay.
Or things we think but never speak.
Spoken aloud or not, these words have the power to reign — to rule our lives and run our lives.
These vows can work for our good and for our gain. Though they sometimes tend to hurt us — when we speak them out of pain.
Inner vows made in pain, panic, rejection, anger, and fear can get us off track. Making now the perfect time to take negative inner vows back.
Break Inner Vows That Hold You Back
If you connected with that, pray and ask God to show you inner vows you’ve made that are holding you back.

A PRAYER:
Lord, reveal ALL negative inner vows I’ve made that hold me back.
Give me courage to face what I’ve tried to escape. Give me courage to face everything I’ve tried NOT to feel — and anything I’ve tried to numb.
Lord, give me courage to face realities that don’t feel good, so I can move into realities that do.
I’m pro-prayer and pro-counseling so do not hesitate to seek a mental health professional about your feelings.
