Spirit Break Out 🎧🎧🎧
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:9-10 KJV
Are you familiar with these words? Ever heard them repeated or spoken it yourself? If so, have you ever truly toiled over the meaning?
At church, the congregation was once asked to recite The Lord’s Prayer and I would love to say it was heavenly. In reality, we sounded like a jumble of mushy-mouthed mumblers! Most of the congregation chanted haphazardly, while others muttered it lifelessly as zombies, and still the rest were no better, they ripped through the prayer as if it were a competition.
Jesus taught The Lord’s Prayer to His disciples as a method to model after, not as a ritualistic form of worship. In fact, rituals and traditions meant to make things sacred can inadvertently desecrate them.
WHEN WE PRAY THIS PRAYER WE ARE BECKONING HEAVEN TO MANIFEST ON EARTH.
Try this:
Holy God, I humbly recognize who You are! Let Your kingdom be seen on earth! Let Your plans, purpose and desires be demonstrated here! Let the kingdom of heaven invade the earth through Me!
Many want Jesus to crack the sky, but He’s not quite ready yet…
… what is coming is an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in you to empower you! For what?! To be all that God has called you to be! Once God has had His satisfaction invading the earth through us, Christ will make a triumphant return!
Consider the eagle and the comfort the eaglets experience in their early stages of life. They have complete security, food & housing.
In new seasons and new experiences, we are introduced to this same comfort…then we have to grow up.
Eaglets grow rapidly often gaining around a pound every few days. At less than two months old they’re almost as big as their parents and the eagles spend most of their time hunting to fill their insatiable appetites.
While the eaglets are still experiencing total comfort, the conditioning process begins. Physically, the eaglets soft down sheds and is replaced by feathers suitable for flight. Occasionally their outstretched wings catch gusts of wind causing them to rise awakening new senses, keeping in continuity their preparation to fly.
Mentally, the eaglets are beginning to be trained to fend for themselves. Though their parents are still present, their visits come more often without food. Eventually, having their former luxuries withheld the eaglets become determined to venture off into the unknown. They decide to arise and fly.
In the same manner, the eagles are seemingly deprived to encourage them to fly, you too are being made uncomfortable to soar!
You have previously heard God wants to do…God is preparing to do…or God will do…but this is the year God is going to do…which means this is the year YOU ARE going to do.
This is a year of demonstration, so be prepared to be shaken and shifted into the new!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The apostles were the pioneers of the early Church, they spearheaded the Jesus movement. An apostle is a messenger or “sent one” appointed by Christ, to serve the church and to train God’s people to go forth purpose! Apostles are not limited to the original twelve or Paul.
Yet some believe they don’t exist. They esteem their own teachings over God’s. These same people try to usurp their doctrine over His set order…thus nullifying it (Mark 7:13).
CESSATIONISM IS DEAD
Cessationism is completely faulty. This popular teaching states spiritual gifts like healing, tongues and prophecy ended in the so-called “apostolic era” and were only intended to establish the church. 🙄🙄🙄
God is progressive, He doesn’t plateau. God doesn’t decline…God’s methodology is always intended to enhance.
Ephesians 4:11 teaches that apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers have been given as gifts to the church to build it. God is a Good Father, when does He give gifts and then take them away from those that are faithful? Building indicates continual manifestation…it doesn’t end…it obliterates cessationism. 🔫🔫🔫
All 5️⃣ of these ministries exist today, along with many other gifts of the Spirit (Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12, Ephesians 4). They are all necessary to advance God’s kingdom in the earth and are governed most effectively by apostles…God’s wise master builders (1 Corinthians 3:10).
I was typing one day when apostolic succession randomly popped up. We often expect God to be extra deep, but sometimes He’s just not that deep. Quick Example: God didn’t speak to Elijah in a mighty wind, or an earthquake, or even a fire, but He came to this discouraged prophet in a gentle whisper (1 Kings 19:11-13).
I made note of the word because I sensed it didn’t occur by happenstance. He showed me the word apostolic succession, but WHY?? I understood apostolic assignments to build & govern the church, but I didn’t understand succession. Succession is the right to inherit a title or an office.
The church is established on the foundation of the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20), in the context of this scripture, these are those that have come before us. Foundations are meant to be built upon…we build upon a foundation that’s already been laid to advance God’s kingdom in the earth (1 Corinthians 3:11). The early laborers established it, new apostles and prophets, along with every other gift cause its continual building and manifestation!
This is a time where true apostles will inherit their appropriate title and function in the church. They will govern, they will set order, the will uproot, build, plant and train God’s people to go!
Raise your hands and receive this fresh wind…
“I am breathing into You, My people. You which are but earthen vessels, you will truly understand what it is to hold and possess My treasure. You are My treasure. You are My chosen. You are My chosen possession.
I even speak to those who feel unworthy and I call you worthy, therefore, you are. I have made you worthy. My Words have washed You clean.
So Arise…Believers Arise. Church Arise. For you are my hands and feet. You know there is more for you to do. That desire you feel, the nudge you feel, the tug at your heart, the curiosity you have for more was even placed there by Me.
Do not consider getting into position or place, because you are in position. Simply Arise. Let go of fear. Do not fear man. The fear of man is a trap. Rather fear Me, the One who can destroy both your body and soul.
Arise and Demonstrate.”
SCRIPTURE REFERENCE
He said to them, “Go everywhere in the world. Tell the Good News to everyone. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved. But those who do not believe will be judged guilty. And the people who believe will be able to do these things as proof: They will use my name to force demons out of people. They will speak in languages they never learned. If they pick up snakes or drink any poison, they will not be hurt. They will lay their hands on sick people, and they will get well.”
