THE SNARE OF EVERY SEASON — Every season presents the snare of pursuing temporary + short-term gain over long-term rewards. So here are four points to consider as you pursue new things.
- Passion drives your pursuit. Examine the source of your passion and how the opportunity before you can support it. Avoid opportunities that don’t align with your values + are contrary to your passions.
- Opportunity doesn’t always mean money. Sometimes opportunity comes by way of experience, then experience produces more profitability. So, with each opportunity, consider the possible long-term financial gains before you turn it down.
- Let integrity be your guide. Ill-gotten gain leaves no lasting pleasure. If you forfeit integrity you may win now, but you can be certain you will lose later.
- Let peace rule in all your decisions. God’s ability to promote you, establish you, and create wealth are sure. When you trust Him with your future, you don’t have to act unethically, ignore your convictions or adopt cut-throat practices to get ahead. Just trust [which is to obey] God💜
