my monday morning garden walk...
turned into vine wrangling. 😆🌱
because the 'mini-me' watermelon (not shown)
& 'orient wonder' pole beans
needed a little help finding the trellis.
a few more details... 🌱✨
these ‘orient wonder’ pole beans
started as seeds in the ground.
they’re most tender at 12”–18”
they can grow up to 30” 🫛🤯
ours are growing up an arch
once the vines were several inches tall,
i helped them find their support.
after that… they pretty much took over.
every now & then,
i guide a wandering vine
back where i want it.
in about 3 months,
i've only stepped in a few times.
the pole beans got a
few tiny pieces of velcro this last time. 😆
