God is breathing heavy on a new generation of revivalists, revolutionaries, and reformists.
There are so many of you, like myself, who are being called by God to create what there’s currently no template for and what doesn’t presently exist.
The reality of this can be tough. It can sometimes feel like you’re beating against air and what you’re doing has no purpose. Leaving you to believe that you’re not moving forward. For those reasons, I asked God to speak to me more about this “stuck” feeling many of you are experiencing, and I got a response.
Here are four declarations, inspired by God, to encourage you to keep building:
- You are about to build what people have no context for and provide blueprints for what doesn’t exist.
- You are to understand that God has, indeed, called you to build something new. Realize that the very absence of a prototype is itself yet an affirmation and proof of God’s plan for your life.
- You are to prepare for opposition. Yes, it will be difficult at times, but the coming Glory is worth the battle.
- You are to know that your unique skills, giftings, and experiences are being put to use in this season like never before. You will be required to be you on purpose, and not just by happenstance.
Since you are a revivalist, revolutionary, and reformer beware of this:
- Everyone won’t be able to understand or articulate what they don’t have vocabulary or context around. Remember, this is your job anyways, not theirs.
- Words like “carnal,” “demonic,” and “rebellious” will fly like fiery darts to derail you from your mission.
In these things, be as a tree 🌳. Be unmoved. Be stationary. Be resolute.
Builders build
- Do find a circle of godly people who have a genuine revelation of your God-given identity.
- Do less explaining and more demonstrating.
- Do build like it’s nobody’s business.
- Do consult with God at every step of the way – this is most important.
