God spoke to me one morning this week and said that He wants us to”Linger“!

As I looked up this word in the dictionary, it means to remain or stay on in a place longer than is usual or expected, as if from reluctance to leave:

In this hour of great transition and turmoil, God is calling us to “Linger”!

He says “I want you to take time out with Me beyond your normal and stay there longer than usual and longer than you ever expected”.
He says, “As you get into My presence with the intention to “Linger“, you will develop a reluctance to stop or leave these times with Me! Do not fear the sense of reluctance as this will pull you back again and again for the incredible things that I will bring to you as you “Linger“! I want you to know that I long for MORE of you. Don’t be too quick to leave our time together!!”

“Linger” also means to dwell in contemplation, or deep reflective thought, or even enjoyment.

God is saying, “As you linger, your mind will be renewed and your daily thoughts will be filled with faith.” “I am calling you to stay longer with Me during your worship, prayer And your worship gatherings with other believers!”

“This, in and of itself can sound like a call to mechanical worship. But as you set your heart towards “Lingering”, you will begin to see just how significant this is for you and your church. “It will draw you to worship Me in Spirit and in Truth”.

“My people have rushed in and out of My presence for so long that there has been a religious and humanistic definition of worship. This has become your normal experience. But, Your normal will change as you”Linger” with Me!

God says, “Do not be afraid and do not take lightly this call to “Linger“! ”

This is an intimate request from The Lord and it will awaken in us a deeper understanding of His desire to be with us and His deep passion for fellowship with us.

God says, “I am giving you everything you need in this hour, more than enough, the weight of My glory. These times are filled with great deception and My word is being ignored and replaced with man’s knowledge, opinions, and new ideas.

He says, “I will strengthen you as you “Linger“. This is for your protection, provision and to cause you to see what I see! Lingering means I want to share My heart with you and I want to give you genuine rest!

Time will be different for you as you stay longer with The Lord. You are about to move surprised as you develop a reluctance to leave that place! “Linger” and be amazed!
