12/8 HIS LOVE CHANGES EVERYTHING
Bible Verse: Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Reflection: A thought that makes my world stop is this—God didn’t wait for me to be perfect to love me. He loved me first, flaws and all. The cherry on top? God’s love doesn’t just cover our past. It calls us into something greater.
Prayer: God, thank You for loving me even when I mess up and calling me into something greater. Teach me how to receive your love instead of trying to earn it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Kindness Idea: Tell someone why you appreciate them today. A simple word of affirmation could help them see God’s love.
12/9 LOVE THAT PURSUES
Bible Verse: Luke 15:4
“Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them. Doesn’t he leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?
Reflection: God’s love doesn’t give up. He pursues us even when we walk away or feel worthless. No matter how far we wander, His love is right there. Rest in this: God sees your worst parts and still loves you.
Prayer: God, thank You for loving me even when my heart wanders off. Let my heart and mind remain open, so your love can always find me. Strengthen my commitment to follow you all the days of my life. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Take Action: Reach out to someone you haven’t spoken to in a while — as long as it’s safe and healthy to connect.
12/10 LOVE THAT FORGIVES
Bible Verse: Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
Reflection: Love forgives. It’s not always easy, but forgiveness isn’t about excusing experiences—it’s about releasing the experience and the hold it has on you. That’s how forgiveness frees your heart and makes room for a brighter future. Remember, forgiveness is an act of love that mirrors the forgiveness God shows us, reminding us that His grace is our guide.
Prayer: God, help me to forgive others as You forgive—freely and fully—even when it’s hard. Please heal my heart where I feel hurt and teach me to let go. Help me to forgive others without expecting them to do the same or forcing them to forgive. In Jesus’ name, amen.

12/11 LOVE THAT HEALS
Bible Verse: Psalm 147:3
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.
Reflection: God’s love can reach deep, hidden places we try to hide—the places we’d rather ignore or cover up. His love finds the pain we forget about, too, the wounds we’ve buried deep. His love restores what feels shattered into a million pieces, gently mending each fracture with care. That means God is NOT afraid to touch the broken areas in your life because He specializes in making them whole.
Prayer: God, thank You for healing my heart and pain. I surrender every broken area of my life to you—places I’ve tried to ignore, control, or even hide. You have redeemed me, and I trust your restoration plan. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Take Action: Write a letter to someone who hurt you (or who let you get hurt)—even if you never send it. May the words release what you’ve been carrying. Or take a moment to pray for someone who’s hurt you. Ask God for healing and peace in their life and yours.
12/12 LOVE THAT COMFORTS
Bible Verse: 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
Reflection: I married when I was super young and had children fast. It was no fairytale. My life had barely started, but I believed it was already over. Some moments felt like massive waves were crashing over me–one after another, nonstop. Catching my breath felt impossible, and I lost hope. But God wrapped His love around me and didn’t let go. I’m literally alive because He saved my life. May the God of compassion and comfort steady your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Prayer: God, thank You for being my safe place, my strength, and my peace. Thank you for comforting me with Your compassion. Fill me with Your peace when life feels heavy, overwhelming, and too much. Help me to share that same comfort with others. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Kindness Act: Post a comforting message on social media. Someone might need it. Let them know they’re not alone.
12/13 LOVE THAT GUIDES
Bible Verse: Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.
Reflection: God’s love isn’t just comforting, it’s a guiding light. When we feel lost or unsure, His love leads us back to the right path, the right place, the right position. Sometimes, trusting God is hard because it means letting go of control and allowing His wisdom to direct our paths. But let me tell you, worrying adds nothing to your life–worrying takes away from it. So, trust in the Lord and let Him guide you.
Prayer: God, thank You for guiding me. Teach me to trust Your direction, even when I don’t see a way forward. Show me how to welcome Your wisdom in my life and not resist it. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Take Action: Think about a time in your life when God guided you out of a struggle. Write about it.
12/14 LOVE THAT REDEEMS
Bible Verse: Isaiah 43:1
But now, this is what the LORD says– he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine.
Reflection: Redemption is God declaring that your story isn’t over. It’s the moment when His love steps into our mess, takes the broken pieces, and makes them meaningful. God’s redemption is powerful, transforming brokenness into beauty—not just restoring but reclaiming us as His own. Through Jesus, we celebrate redemption, a love that gives us a new life.
Prayer: God, thank You for redeeming me. Thank You for fighting for my future and defending my life. I ask that You teach me to do the same—to bring beauty to broken things and reflect Your love to those around me. In Jesus’ name, amen.
Kindness Act: Donate to a cause that redeems—whether it’s a ministry, a program for teens, a shelter, or a community project.
