On Tuesday, January 31st, 2017, at 1:30 pm I heard “RULE IN GRACE.”
This statement serves to be a reminder for each of us, especially those that are pioneering something, to always live life this way.
So let us examine together what “Rule in Grace” means.
RULE IN GRACE [FAVOR + POWER]
To rule is to exercise authority over something by using one’s influence to lead, manage, govern, and direct. Authority is given to rule regions, areas of government, business structures, organizations, clubs, people and the list goes on. Grace is God’s favor and God’s supernatural power.
To rule in Grace is to manage life’s activities with God’s supernatural ability and favor.
Ultimately, if you want to have sustained success God is saying to you:
Take authority over the assignments I’ve given you in My power and not your own!
In order to rule well, you need to know what you’ve been called to manage and what’s expected of you. Equally as important is your ability to recognize what you should ignore to ensure you stay within the framework of your authority and your assignment. With this in mind, don’t engage in any unnecessary battles or accept every opportunity that comes your way.
On the afternoon of Friday, February 3rd, 2017 at 4:51 pm I wrote the following:
Even when you win in an unneccessary battle you are still losing.
Why? Your ability to adhere to your assignment is what matters most and obedience to God is better than any win. You actually lose when you engage in avoidable conflicts, matters outside of your sphere of authority, and things that are beyond your obligation to fix.
I need you to use your imagination for just a moment. Muhammad Ali had an exemplary career, but can you imagine how much impact accepting every challenge he was presented with would have had on his legacy and the longevity of his career. Although he was defeated a few times, he will forever be remembered as the champ.
Pursue wisdom at each of life’s turns, to distinguish distractions and weed out the opportunities that are only there to wear you out.
FAVOR [GRACE] IS UPON THE BUILDERS
On Saturday, February 4th, 2017 at 7:01 pm, while driving I saw a sign that read:
“2017 CONSTRUCTION WILL BEGIN”
A pioneer is a builder. They are sent ahead of others to prepare the way. Pioneers are the first to develop and explore various things, including territories, methodologies, as well as new activities. For those of you that have been commissioned to spearhead something, favor [ God’s Grace] is upon your work! Embrace God’s new thing and in doing so, be certain that His Grace [His favor + His power] will carry you.
YOUR STRENGTH WILL FAIL YOU
Pioneers, the only time you can be wearied is when you are operating in your own strength, ability, and intellect. The enemy will try and for many already is actively attempting to weaken you by causing you to work this way.
Here’s a solution, in times where you find yourself becoming overworked, overwhelmed, or doing something as innocent as racing from one thought/task to the next – just stop…
Sit down. Quiet your soul and listen to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is releasing wisdom for this part of your journey and beyond! At this point, your constant partnership with Him isn’t a choice, it is a necessity.
YOU ARE NEVER ALONE
As the first among many, you will endure a lot and even be misunderstood. Sometimes you may not even understand what’s going on yourself and why you’re going through what you’re going through, but as long as you stay partnered with God you cannot lose! In moments of your weakness, challenge God to uphold His promise of Grace [God’s favor + God’s Power].
Allow His favor and supernatural ability to overwhelm you, so that you may become who He made you to be and accomplish things you naturally could not!
Defeat is easy when an opponent feels hopeless, but you have hope! Now defeat your foe by focusing on God and hoping in the One who will not disappoint us!
DECLARATION OF VICTORY
I will not succumb to defeat because I will manage my life and my destiny in Grace. I will not strive to accomplish anything on my own because I am extremely sensitive to the Holy Spirit and I work in tandem with Him. I will not grieve the Holy Spirit or ignore Him, as a result His truth will always guide me. I surrender to You God and receive Your supernatural strength to get things done!
In Jesus Name! Amen!
