This past Saturday I met up with a few friends and what started as a casual afternoon of hanging out turned into a night of worship. Verbal accounts of God’s sovereignty were shared, tangible manifestations of His mercy were displayed, spontaneous songs of adoration were released, petitions were prayed and mysteries were revealed through prophecy. A casual gathering turned into a night of worship that ended with us all on the floor.
I arrived home late that night and was wide awake when I received a call from a friend. He shared an experience he’d had with others where a simple truth was represented to the group. As he spoke, I’m thinking that sounds like what my friends had been talking about earlier. We continued our conversation and he unknowingly continued to say things that made my spirit leap within me because it confirmed things for me, brought insight & made me more inquisitive about what God is doing.
Sunday morning I received a text from him saying one of the very things he’d shared with me the night before had been spoken during his leader’s morning message! That day, as I sat in church, exact phrases from the previous night’s conversation were reestablished.
The morning of Monday, December 14th, 2015 – I stumbled across a few new videos on Tron Moses YouTube channel that were reaffirmed statements from my weekend! 😳😳😳 I sat in awe of God and was content with just that until He began to speak to my heart. I heard, “This is a week of confirmations,” and thought hmm I should do a Periscope. I laughed to myself as Sarah did and thought I hate doing that 😩😩😩. Less than an hour later I received a text message simply stating “do a scope.”
🙄🙄🙄 I was like why but instead of putting it off any longer I simply began to settle my spirit. While listening to soaking music & reading, I began to scribe in the margins of my Bible…
WHAT IS CONFIRMATION?
Confirmation is a piece of evidence. Evidence of what? Evidence of the truth. It establishes validity to what you’ve seen, heard or sensed. It establishes accuracy. Confirmation provides definite assurance.
BLESSED ASSURANCE
The identity of Christ is being confirmed in believers. We are being empowered to act (Acts 1:8), we are beginning to awaken to who we truly are and what we are CHOSEN to do. We are being reconfirmed by God to boldly go forth as the salt & light🕯🕯🕯 of the world 🌏🌍🌎 .
INVADE THE EARTH
This is and will be a week of confirmation from God. What you witness is not for you to sit and share selfishly on yourselves – your circle, your set. This isn’t for believers to delight in solely. It’s not a single puzzle piece joined with others in a grandiose scheme to simply be viewed or applauded by “the church.” This series of confirmations is designed to create a road map. 👣👣👣 A map provides directions! It’s for you to go – to go forth – to go CONFIDENTLY on the path God is laying before you.
CHOOSE HIS PATH & LIVE
These confirmations are vital necessities. They act as strategically laid signposts 🚩🚧🚩🚧🚩, all along your path to let you know you are going the right way. They are your definite assurance. ☑️☑️☑️
A PATH UNPAVED BUT SET
I have envisioned believers walking on a path set, but strangely the road was not yet made. Rather the path was being fashioned before each of our individual steps. I saw illuminated golden bricks floating softly as feathers from the sky to the ground creating the road ahead.
I never questioned why I saw bricks drift from above until I spoke with a friend one night…the path is set by God so naturally the road is designed from His perspective. This supports our need to continue looking to God for everything. Our survival requires we trust Him. Close your eyes, listen to His voice and believe in Him to make every provision for you!
