What does ‘You are under no pressure to perform’ mean to you? For me, ‘You are under no pressure to perform’ is a reminder to remain passion-driven over performance-driven.

This reminder doesn’t teach me to settle for less or even mean that I’m settling. It just means that I’m free from settling for the opinions that other’s have about me.

This quote is a reminder that no matter what, people’s acceptance [or rejection of me for that matter] is not my motivation to do anything.

Furthermore, this statement makes me evaluate myself — Like am I allowing people to rate my life? Am I letting other people’s opinions and influence guide my daily experience?

But enough about me!!! Let’s make this interactive — take a moment to think about what this statement means to you, and how much influence people have on the direction of your life.

Drop a comment too.

And if you find you’ve been under ‘performance pressure,’ no worries — becoming self-aware empowers you to change. So, be at peace and not under pressure. Live for you and always be open to letting God evaluate your life — because God really does have your best interest in mind.
