I hadn’t intended on watching the Super Bowl 🏈🏈🏈 at all but somehow got pulled into doing so & for good reasons. As I scrolled down 🔽🔽🔽 my Instagram timeline I saw the following post…

Upon seeing this I decided to fit watching 👁👁the game into my plans.

5️⃣0️⃣ is an awesome number spiritually, representing Jubilee (Leviticus 25:10-11) and also Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4).

How does 50 relate to these festivals?

Jubilee was a set time of release and restoration occurring only every 50 years. Pentecost came 50 days after Passover (when Christ was crucified) and was the day the Holy Spirit was released in fulfillment with Old Testament prophecies (Joel 2:28-32).

So Super Bowl 50 has awesome implications in itself! It’s like a spiritual charge to “get in the game!”

 The Halftime Show

It boasted an interesting eclectic artist mix featuring Coldplay along with Bruno Mars & Beyoncé. During the performance, I immediately noticed these bright, beautiful and bold colors in the clothes, the props and display of lights all around…I was like wooooow the creative side of us is soooo amazing.

The next thing that stood out was video clips from previous performances with the likes of Aretha Franklin, James Brown, Whitney Houston, Paul McCartney, and Mick Jagger to name some. It not only highlighted those pioneers, but included those that stand on their shoulders, successors like the late Michael Jackson, Katie Perry & Beyonce.

As I saw the artist come together in unity the show closed with a beautiful picture… BELIEVE•IN•LOVE painted in these vibrant colors 🎨🎨🎨!

Hidden Agendas | Prophetic Signs

Now some would argue the colors and statement was to boost the “LGBT agenda” and it may have been, but God created the R A I N B O W 🌈🌈🌈and set it as a sign of His promise…so let’s see beyond the natural and seemingly…again I say seemingly obvious and look to Him (Genesis 9).

R A I N B O W S 🌈🌈🌈 in scripture also represent the Glory of God (Ezekiel 1:28, Revelation 4:3, Revelation 10:1). Soooo many prophetic voices are talking about the Glory of God and the progression of this topic is increasing! For example, for the  past two weeks my leader taught on The Glory and during prophet Tamara McNair-Hicks Firestorm service Saturday, February 6th she preached on the pending G L O R Y.

Arise! Shine! Your light has come; the Lord’s glory has shone upon you. Though darkness covers the earthand gloom the nations, the Lord will shine upon you; God’s glory will appear over you. Nations will come to your light and kings to your dawning radiance.

Isaiah 60:1-3 Common English Bible

Not only did the halftime show provide a picture of God’s Glory coming in such a major way, but it also foreshadows the R E F O R M A T I O N coming to the church. There is a changing of the guards, not in the aspect of leaders and leadership, but in the function of the church (See When Heaven Invades Earth). Much of the reformation needs to start in our thinking. This is evidenced in how most see a rainbow and first think about the homosexual community instead of God’s promise to Noah. God’s agenda must take precedence over all else in our lives. While the world 🌏🌍🌏 gets darker you are designed to burn brighter 🕯🕯🕯.

Last year I wrote about unity in the Body of Christ in two parts: 1) Unity with other believers 2) Unity with God. Unity positions us for a Coporate Outpouring of His Anointing, i.e. The Glory (See Visitation).

Love…the more excellent way.

The Super Bowl sign said B E L I E V E • I N • L O V E, while this is great it doesn’t represent God’s love. This is the world’s love. God is love and love is the only thing that will turn people to Him (See my story in Love in Bloom).

So why hasn’t it seemed to worked❓

Are we truly showing love without prejudice❓

Is our concept of His Love accurate❓

Sadly it’s often misguided because we truly haven’t accepted His love for us and secretly believe our relationship with Him is based on “how good we are” (Mark 10:18). When we feel this way it’s impossible to show His love to others and we in turn place burdens ⛓⛓⛓ on people that we weren’t even able to live up to, except by grace (Ephesians 2:8-10, Acts 15:1-11).

I encourage you to pray over this, ask God to give you a fresh encounter of His love and reveal any judgements you’ve made. Read about God’s love. Embrace it in your life and set your heart to give that same love to others.

SCRIPTURE REFERENCE

If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don’t love, I’m nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. If I speak God’s Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, “Jump,” and it jumps, but I don’t love, I’m nothing. If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don’t love, I’ve gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I’m bankrupt without love.Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn’t want what it doesn’t have.Love doesn’t strut, Doesn’t have a swelled head, Doesn’t force itself on others,Isn’t always “me first,” Doesn’t fly off the handle, Doesn’t keep score of the sins of others, Doesn’t revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end.
