Life – the Infinite Game?
I read a Simon Sinek quote on Twitter and while I’m partial to the entire quote I love the first part:
“There is no such thing as winning or losing in a game that has no end.”
Full quote:

Before I gush over what I love about this statement, let me give you this disclaimer:
I believe my natural life will end and my spiritual life will not. But this Sinek quote – “There is no such thing as winning or losing in a game that has no end,” literally reminds me that while here on earth my ability to evolve is infinite.
My Evolution is Unending
This was when a huge lightbulb 💡💡💡 appeared over my head – actually it didn’t, but I did have this epiphany:
- My life is not a pass or fail test. Instead, every breath I breathe gives me a chance and an opportunity to grow to be great.
- My life is a series of daily progressions and moment by moment plays in my battle to become the person I was made to be.
- In life, all of my moments are a collective piece, a part, and an active contribution to my overall journey and life’s purpose.
The Inevitable Frustration of the Evolving
While this reminder serves as a good motivator to keep me moving forward, it doesn’t completely stop the frustration. Especially considering I’ve seen a glimpse of my future self, the magnitude of my life’s purpose, and the impact of my presence in the earth.
