Want to feel more confident and secure about the prices you set? Want to set prices without selling yourself short or feeling guilty?
I thought so, and you’re in the right place! Before I get into how to set your prices — let me share what you should not do! (Tap here to watch the vlog)
Your prices should never be a reflection of self-worth—yours or your clients.
Your clients can afford to pay you, and they are ready to invest in themselves.
Prices for products and services should never ever be a reflection of self-worth.
But the temptation to do that is high. I understand why…
✓ You want to make what you do affordable.
✓ You want your services to be more accessible.
✓ You don’t want to miss out on a job.
So you sacrifice your price — and as a result, you sell yourself short.
You let people project their insecurities on you — or worse, you project your insecurities on people who are ready to pay whatever you ask. You let self-worth determine your prices — and I want to help you stop doing that.
So here are a few things to think about when pricing your products and services.
Education: These are the investments you’ve made into formal and informal learning like college, certifications, or on-demand courses.
Expertise: This is your skill level in a specific industry or niche. Are you a beginner, intermediate, advanced, or at an expert level?
Experience: This is the time you’ve served and gained experience through on-the-job training and real-life work.
