Exposing End Times Prophetic Lies and Proclaiming Present Kingdom Truths
“Most theologians agree that “end-times” is a time of tribulation that precedes the appearance or second coming of Jesus Christ the Messiah even though the phrase “second coming” is not mentioned in the bible. The preferred terminology is His coming into His Kingdom in fullness. The theological debate is generally about the application and fulfillment of scripture. The theological position of this thesis, after diligent study, is that Jesus returned after the tribulation as He said that he would and concludes that no sound scriptural basis exists to support a waiting period of 2000 years or more for the fulfillment of the words spoken by Christ to the disciples. The Messiah, when He returned, fully ushered in the Kingdom of God which John the Baptist preached was at hand. Most people believe that the doctrine of “last things “or “end-times” refer to the end of the world. However, when we take a closer view of the scriptures in context, considering audience relevance, we can only come to the conclusion that the eschatological teaching of Christ and the apostles is the end of the old Jewish system.”
“In Matthew 23, Christ explains the specific reasons why the old Jewish system had to be judged and destroyed. The old covenantal system was only a shadow of the work that Christ would do to bring believers into their proper place in the presence of God walking in dominion, subduing the earth, being fruitful and multiplying. The old system had come to the measure of fullness so it was the appointed time for Christ’s ministry to manifest so that a new covenantal system could be established. The religious leaders of that time had moved so far from the covenant that God made with them that He had to manifest His plans and purposes through Christ. Accordingly, Christ came to take the people of God from temporary forgiveness of sin to eternal salvation. Christ came to release the people from being slaves to a temporal system to being heirs to the throne of God. This is what Paul explained in Galatians:
__
“NOW WHAT I mean is that as long as the inheritor (heir) is a child and under age, he does not differ from a slave, although he is the master of all the estate; But he is under guardians and administrators or trustees until the date fixed by his father. So we [Jewish Christians] also, when we were minors, were kept like slaves under [the rules of the Hebrew ritual and subject to] the elementary teachings of a system of external observations and regulations. But when the proper time had fully come, God sent His Son, born of a woman, born subject to [the regulations of] the Law, To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to[a]atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God’s sons]. And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then also an heir through [the gracious act of] God, [through Christ]. Galatians 4:1-7(AMP)
The proper time had fully come for Christ to judge and demolish the old legal system and to usher in a new system based on kingdom principles with the heirs arising to the proper position of sonship.”
