In this prophetic message from Sophia Ruffin, she speaks a word to the millennial from the perspective of a millennial and also a word for any invisible pioneer.

She opens the message with sibling rivalry as it relates to the Body of Christ. This camouflaged competitive spirit conceals itself well by hopping on “bandwagons” and slithering into the fan parade of others. Supporting them and even following their examples in wisdom is great, but copying others umm, not so much. You’re one of a kind and while there are some commonalities you’ll share with people, you were created to leave a lasting impression in the earth that only you can do and only you can achieve by being you. Not a follower, but an original.

Be an original, not a follower.

Sophia shares, her generation was taught to copy others early and recalls often being asked who do you want to be like? When you are taught to follow people who granted may have already done some pretty amazing things, it leads you to compete in and against the footsteps of others. It restricts God’s creative process in you, not because He limited but because you’re following someone else’s legacy and not allowing Him to create yours. It leaves you boxed into just duplicating and taking a laissez-faire approach to pioneering something of your own.

In this message, Sophia makes clear the distinction between being a supporter and a follower while inspiring listeners to be originators. Watch and discover a nature to support others to the point of being a “follower,” can be unhealthy and potentially restrict you from achieving feats only you were created for.

You weren’t created to be invisible.

To those who were asked who do you want to be like versus who do you want to be, this is for you. It’s time for you to arise asking God who am I, what was I created for, and can You partner with me to achieve it!

Thank you, Sophia Ruffin, for this message.
